In 2012, I lost my beautiful daughter, Leigh, to suicide. She had become surrounded by darkness and truly believed that everyone would be better off without her. Her utterly heart-breaking and tragic story has given me the motivation to make sure that I do everything I can to make people feel that they are worthy......we are not better off without them.....we need them. If only she had known the truth. This is her legacy and her love will be spread far and wide to those who need it.
We are a community of people who share our stories of love, hope and inspiration. We aim to help fight the stigma of mental health by carrying out acts of kindness and encouraging others to do the same. We also aim to support anyone who is dealing with a bereavement, including the loss of a child. Together we can make this world a kinder and more loving place.
As we do not provide counselling services or have premises to pay for, we are in the unique position of not having huge overheads. That said, we do have support packs for schools, colleges, workplaces and for individuals and we need to cover our costs for those. So, any donations or offers to help produce our packs are very gratefully received.
